This is a first try for a size comparison of the starships from the Mass Effect Universe. A Sketchup model here is not perfectly accurate (it appears to be based on the Star Trek Fact Files inaccurate rendition of the ship), but nonetheless the volume comes out to about 61,150 cubic meters when calculated at 5.Nice but I thought Death Star was bigger that that.5.1 KDF Size chart Federation Graphical Ship Tier Chart This ranked / tiered ship chart was created to give players a quick graphical reference to every playable Federation ship (and their stats) in the game.Mass Effect Starship Size Chart Comparison. Wookieepedia clas IV moon - 120 km diameter. The Moon, our Earth natural satellite is not the etalon there. I was adding an extra zero to those Eve ships."The size of a moon" is a bloody relative thing. Which would make it about as big as some of the larger Eve ships.Edit: Whoops.
Starship Size Chart Movie Or Game
Nowadays, some designers building a 50 stories building break their brains thinking what could go wrong, but, a spacefaring galactic empire, building a space battle station the size of a small planetoid, just happen to build in a lucky security breach that takes out the whole thing ? Ridiculous.I've been berated once for asking for realism in a fantasy game.Yet there is the factor of "implausible" that can easily crash the feeling of a movie or game. I mean this cooling shaft that would allow ordnance to go all the way to the core is a pretty stretched magical solution if you ask me.Think of it. O., when you build a 120 km huge ball of death, you'd have to be pretty nonsensical to think of and design millions of devices, sections, parts, whatnot but in the same time overlook the protection for that one damn core that could take out the whole thing. Base ship from Independence Day - 24 km.However, I.
What point is there for a horticulturist to be on the command bridge when comm systems are available ?Nowadays, we are used to being able to travel the whole length of modern ships, but when starships will become huge, everybody will travel only according to their job necessities. Same with a greenhouse worker. There is no reason for an engine monitoring employee to travel the whole ship daily, he needs to keep an eye on engine stats and report. In a large ship, aside for a few members that actually need to move about, most crew just travel from their living quarters to their station. Even at a full sprint, it would still take me an hour to get from one end to the other.Do they have those airport travelators installed? :)That's because you get stuck on the "the whole ship can be explored" concept. Although I can't help wonder about the 19000 meter ships.
